Private client - Marker Rasen, Lincolnshire.
Often we get asked for planting designs and after discussing what plants the client likes and what they don't, we drew a scheme for the area. This design was along side the drive at the front of the house and the client wanted a stunning cottage garden display.
The centre piece is a pampas grass surrounded by Knipfofia, Echinacea, Carex, Hosta, Phlox, and a variety of mixed coloured plants to create the impact the client wanted. The different plants have different flowering times so throughout the year there is something in flower.
We truly loved blending this planting scheme. Using contrasting forms and colours and adding in plants of different heights for added interest.
